Management System

Since the establishment of KMM Metals the Board has made a decision to invest time and capital in order to introduce a management system according to ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements and to ensure a production that meets all requirements of clients as well as to secure environmental protection and safety at the place of work.

In May 2004 after the pre-audit and certification audit by Bureau Veritas Latvia KMM Metals were awarded three certificates that approve that the management system of KMM Metals is developed and maintained in compliance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007 requirements.

The scope of supply of the management system is Production of non-ferrous metal alloys wares and semi products

After the awarding of the certificates employees keep on working on constant improvement of the management system in order to fulfil the aims of the company and to implement the policy of quality, environmental protection and work safety.

• At the beginning of 2005 KMM Metals recertified the management system accordingly to the new Version of ISO 14001:2004.
• In June of 2009 KMM Metals recertified the management system accordingly to the new Version of OHSAS 18001:2007.
• On the 8^th of April 2010 KMM Metals recertified the management system accordingly to the new Version of ISO 9001:2008 and prolonged the validity of all certificates till 31^st of May 2013.
